Jul.1987 Nihon Ceratec Co., Ltd. established as a subsidiary of Nihon Cement Co., Ltd. (currently Taiheiyo Cement Corporation) in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.
May.1996 Los Angeles Branch Office established in Los Angeles, USA.
Jun.1998 Los Angeles Branch relocated to Silicon Valley.
Apr.2002 Merged with Megacera Co., Ltd.
Sep.2002 Cleaning and Refurbishment Section established in Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture (Kyushu) to expand ceramic cleaning and recycling operations.
Nov.2003 Listed on JASDAQ (currently Jasdaq Securities Exchange, Inc.).
Mar.2005 Listed on Second Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange; delisted from Jasdaq Securities Exchange, Inc.
Oct.2005 Merged with Ceranx Co., Ltd.
Mar.2006 Listed on First Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Jan.2007 Ceratec, Inc. established in California, USA.
Feb.2008 Yeedex Ceratec Corporation established in Hsinchu City, Taiwan.
Nov.2009 Became a wholly owned subsidiary of Taiheiyo Cement Corporation through share exchange.
Apr.2014 MMC business transferred to Japan Fine Ceramics Co., Ltd. through absorption-type company split.
Apr.2015 Became wholly owned subsidiary of NGK SPARK PLUG CO., LTD.(currently Niterra Co., Ltd.) through stock transfer by the parent company.
Apr.2016 Company name changed to NTK CERATEC CO., LTD.
Apr.2017 Piezoelectric Business Dept was transferred by NGK SPARK PLUG CO., LTD.(currently Niterra Co., Ltd.)
Apr.2018 Integrated Ceratec, Inc.’s business operation with NTK Technologies, Inc.
Apr.2021 Took over the semiconductor production equipment (SPE) business of NGK SPARK PLUG CO., LTD.(currently Niterra Co., Ltd.)
